How to Create an Email Collection Campaign

An "Email Collection Campaign" serves to collect e-mails of customers on an e-commerce site. Thus, customers can be informed about the contents of the relevant website, such as newsletters. Let's see how this campaign, which is extremely important to maintain the connection between the website and the customer and take it one step further, is created.


Step 1. Login to the Segmentify panel.​​

Step 2. Select the Behavioural Targeting module from the sidebar.





Step 3. On the Behavioural Targeting page that opens, select the Email Collection campaign from the sidebar.





Step 4. Click on the Add E-Mail Collection Popup button to go to the campaign creation page.





Step 5. Fill in the required fields to create the campaign on the page that opens. These fields and their explanations are given in detail below:





E-mail Collection Edit Screens


  1. Title: This field indicates the title of the E-Mail Collection campaign.

  2. Description: A description of the popup to be displayed for the Email Collection must be entered.

  3. Placeholder Text: The name of the information that visitors fill in the form should be entered as a placeholder.

  4. Submit Button Text: 'Call to Action' text must be entered from this field.

  5. Terms Text: In this field, the text must be entered to direct visitors to visit the page where the legal statement is published.

  6. Terms URL: This is the field where you enter the URL address of the page where the legal statement is published to direct visitors.

  7. Campaign Name: A campaign name must be entered in this field. With this name, the campaign can be found easily on the panel.

  8. Start Date: It is the field where the start date of the campaign is selected. The campaign is published with the date selected from this area.

  9. End Date: It is the field where the end date of the campaign is selected. The campaign stops running as of the date selected from this area.

  10. Device Types: With this field, the devices the campaign will run on are selected. There are options such as Web and App.

  11. Pages To Show: The pages on which the Email Collection campaign will run can be selected from this field.

  12. Advanced Configuration: In this area, operations such as banner design, manual filters, and printing of data are carried out.

  13. Go Test: With this button, the campaign can be saved as a draft.

  14. Go Live: With this button, it is delivered to the subscribers according to its timing.

  15. This section contains the titles of the metrics that can be added to the Email Collection campaign. These metrics are already displayed on the campaign edit screen. Metrics on the editing screen can be hidden by clicking on them.

  • Styles: The style of the Email Collection campaign can be set on the page that will be displayed for email collection.

  • Position: The position of the Email Collection campaign on the page can be adjusted.

  • Timing & Frequency: The time and frequency of the Email Collection campaign can be set.

  • Target Audience: The Email Collection campaign can be set to display the target audience.


  1. Text Color: Text color can be selected from this field.

  2. Background Color: Background color can be selected from this area.

  3. Vertical Align: The position of the campaign can be adjusted at the top, middle or bottom of the page.

  4. Horizontal Align: The position of the campaign can be set on the left, middle or right side of the page.

  5. Timing: With this option, the Email Collection campaign can be displayed right after a visit to a website, a few seconds after a visit, or when an exit-intent happens. 

  6. Frequency: The display frequency of the campaign can be adjusted. For example, once in a session.

  7. Target Audience:

  • Visitor Segment: The campaign can be filtered according to segments. Smart Segments can be used here.

  • Visitor Type: The campaign can be filtered according to visitor types.
