Segmentify Personalised Search (SPS) creates an enhanced search experience
across eCommerce websites. SPS makes immediate product recommendations with a box
displayed when the search bar is clicked.
SPS’ Before search input campaign works until the search is completed. SPS’ After search input works after a search term is input.
The recommendations are updated after
minimum characters defined in the configuration are input in the search bar and
they display the products with the highest rock score according to Segmentify's
most intelligent machine-learning algorithms, among the products that match the
specific keyword entered by the shoppers.
If the searched term in the title, brand, category value
of a product, the named products are sorted according to the rock score values,
and the N of these products are ranked from the high to low.
SPS has features
to search according to product attributes such as product code, color, name, category, brand, and SKU (params).
SPS has full
manipulation ability in the assets displayed in the sidebar and products to be
added to before search. The products SPS recommends in Before Search
Input is working like a recommendation widget and can display full personalised
content.
Before Search works before
searching the product in the search box. In this process, we show
products, categories, brands, and keywords searched words according to Segmentify
rock score value.
Before Search Assets
Each one of the
category, brand, keyword, and product fields indicates an Asset.
Products
Segmentify Search box
shows personalized products to the user by using default Smart Offers
algorithm.
The number of products displayed in the products' assets can be configured in the panel.
Categories
It brings
up popular categories in the search box before searching. In Category asset,
categories with the most popular products are brought according to the most
popular products. Popular products related to each category are displayed when
the mouse cursor is hovered over the category name and updated according to the
cursor movement. Product recommendations on the category are brought as a
result of the rock score value.
How many categories will be displayed can be changed from the panel.
Category Tree View: The category tree view shows the hierarchy of the product in the before search. This feature is available as an option.

Brands
In Brands asset, brands with the most popular products are
displayed according to the "Most Popular Products" Algorithm. Popular products
related to each brand are displayed when the mouse cursor is hovered over the
brand name and updated according to the cursor movement. Product
recommendations on the brand are brought as a result of the rock score value.
Keywords
The most searched popular words
on the site are feeding to Segmentify according to the most popular
words searched on the site in the last 7 days. Thus, the most searched words
are ranked by their search counts.
Popular keywords can also change depending on the language in a site
that supports multiple languages. While different words are popular in the English
version of the site, other words may be popular in the Turkish version.
After Search Input is fired after entering as many letters as the minCharacter
definition of the site configuration. The minCharacter configuration can be
adjusted by the Search tab in Global Settings. If the searched word is found in
any product field, the products mentioned are sorted according to the rock
score, and the categories to which these products belong are grouped according
to their brand / categories and they are listed.
The Product Catalog is
fed from the Feed or integration.
Popular products
depending on each category and brand should be displayed when the mouse cursor
is hovered on the relevant asset and updated according to the cursor movement.
After Search Assets
Each one of the category
and brand fields indicate an Asset.
Clickable: Clickable option allows direct access to the related category or
brand over the category / brand values. This feature is available as an option.
In order to use the Clickable
feature, Brand / Category URL
mapping must be done with integration.
Highlight: Highlight option ensures
that when the value is started to be searched, the relevant value is
highlighted as bold over the category / brand values.
Highlight and auto-correction are not currently working together.
For example; when "dross" is written in the search box,
"dress" is not highlighted in the assets.
Categories
It brings up popular

How to show the category
view in search can be set on the panel. This feature is provided by "Category
Tree View". You can check the Campaign Edit section to understand how it works.

It brings up popular brands in
the search box after searching. In brand assets, brands with the most popular products are

and updated according to the cursor movement. Product recommendations on the
brand are brought as a result of the rock score value.

Features
Auto-Correction
With Auto-Correction, Segmentify recommends the product in the search
box to understand the spelling mistakes that users make within certain scopes
and cover them.
Considering the end-user behavior, Segmentify knows that it is very likely
to make a typo, especially on mobile devices. On the other hand, users may not
know how to write the word (brand name, product name may be in a language they
do not know, or spelling may be complicated). However, with this feature, Segmentify has taken the capability of the search module one step further.
For example, when an eCommerce website's end user makes a search called “skort”, Segmentify also brings the results of “shirts, shorts and skirts” as recommendations.
Synonyms
Synonyms works by
searching for the desired word and then bringing in alternative corrections,
synonyms or words that should be returned. After the search, the words that
customers want to see are returned. Synonyms has 3 different uses.
Two-Way Synonyms
This is used when the
two words have the same meaning. Like the previous example “sweatshirt” and
“hoodie”. Two-way Synonms returns both the searched word and its synonym
in the search box after searching.
One-Way Synonyms
This is used when one of the
words is more comprehensive than the other. For example “clothing” and
“helmet”. When we search for “motorcycle clothes” we want to see “helmet” but
not the other way around.
Replace Synonyms
This is used when we
want to show different results to the actual search. For example if we want to
show only “jacket” on the site when “clothing” is searched we use replace
synonyms.
Asset Manipulation
The assets in the campaign can be manipulated and Segmentify algorithms within assets can be utilized. Filters from assets can be included or excluded. These manipulations increase control over recommendations.
