Displaying Key Metrics With Search Insights

Segmentify's 'Search Insights' shows key metrics in Search Reports.

Isn’t it exciting to see the most important metrics and to take a closer at the  performances of these metrics? If yes, let’s explore  Search Insights!

The Insights Screen consists of 2 tabs, “General” and “Assets”. The “General” tab gives us  statistics regarding general search, whereas the "Assets" tab provides asset-based reporting.

With "Search Analytics", searches in the search box are reported according to Total Searches, Popular Searches, No-Result Searches and Most Valuable Searches.

For multi-language accounts, the reports can be seen in different languages and devices.

There are 2 sections here: "General" and "Assets".

General

In the “General” section we see the "Total Searches", "Popular Searches", and "No-Result Searches". Let’s take a closer look at this section.

Total Searches

It provides us with the statistics of General Search.

·         Total Searches: This shows the total number of search queries for the entire selected date range.

·         Total Unique Searches: It displays the total number of unique search queries for the entire selected date range.

Total Searches
It shows the most searched words/phrases independent from assets.
Popular Searches are sorted by the Total Searches count.
  • Total Searches: It is used to display how many times the keywords have been searched by the eCommerce website visitors.
  • CTR: The click-through rate shows the ratio between the number of clicks on products and the number of searches by the eCommerce website visitors. It is calculated by dividing the number of clicks by searches.
  • Purchases: It gives the number of purchases that include at least one product directed by Segmentify's Search Box Widgets along with the searched keyword.
  • Revenue: It displays the total monetary number of products sold through the search box widgets that are in line with the searched keyword.
  • Conversion Rate: It is the percentage of products that have been purchased after a specific keyword is searched in the Segmentify's search box.
  • Per Search Value: It shows the value per search. It is calculated by dividing Revenue by the Popular Searches.
  • Best Product: It shows the best-selling product after the keyword has been searched.
Best Products are sorted according to purchase, click, and basket rates.

Popular Searches

No-Result Searches

The most searched for, but  words/phrases with no-results can be seen in "No-Result Searches".
No-Result Searches are sorted by the Total Searches count.
  • Total Searches: It displays how many times the keywords have been searched by the eCommerce website visitors.
  • No-Result Ratio: It displays the ratio between "No-Result Searches" of keyword and the "Overall Searches". It is calculated by dividing the "No-Result Searches"  by the "Overall Searches".

No-Result Searches

That was all that we were going to examine in the "General Section". Now, let’s move on to the "Assets Section" and find out what awaits us!

Assets

The Assets section gives us  Asset-based Reporting. We see the most maluable products here.

Most Valuable Products

It demonstrates Products with the most contributions (views, add to baskets, purchases).

Most Valuable Products are sorted by product-based revenue.
  • CTR: Click-through rate gives the ratio between the number of clicks on products and the number of searches by the eCommerce website's visitors. It is calculated by dividing clicks on the products by the searches.
  • Basket Rate: It displays the ratio between the number of products that are added to the basket after the search and the number of products that are clicked through the search box. It is calculated by dividing products added to the basket to products clicked.
  • Purchased Products: It gives the total number of products that are sold through Products Asset.
  • Purchases: It displays the purchases of Products Asset.
  • Revenue: It provides the total monetary number of products based on Products Asset.
  • Conversion Rate: The percentage of products that have been purchased after the products shown on the Products Asset.
